Mrs. Yvonne Twizerimana is a Tutorial Assistant at the University of Rwanda, College of Education. She holds a master’s degree in environmental planning and management from Kenyatta University in Kenya, a bachelor’s degree in Geography-History with Education (Upper Second-Class Honors) from the University of Rwanda College of Education (formerly Kigali Institute of Education). In addition to her academic achievements, Ms. Yvonne Twizerimana is a qualified and experienced university educationist, as well as an experienced environmental practitioner.
She has held various key roles at UR-College of Education, including Academic Quality Officer in charge of TTCs, Career Guidance Officer, and Course Development Officer from 2012 to 2017. She oversaw training at VVOB-Rwanda from 2018 to July 2022.

Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Yvonne Twizerimana has a strong passion for research in the fields of Geography and Environment, as well as STEM with Education. These areas of focus highlight her commitment to advancing knowledge, skills and improving educational practices.
