The University of Rwanda (UR), in partnership with the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), is
implementing a project with the title “Behind the Scenes : Young Women and gender-based inequities in Africa’s Creative
Sector”. Under this project, 13 young researchers will be recruited for a minimum of 6-month internship to work with the
research team.

The project will unite interns of multiple disciplines from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Based on the
nature of the project and the agreement signed between the UR and the ICRW, students enrolled in the program of
Performing Arts Education at the College of Education will be eligible to apply for this internship.
