Personal Statement :
NSENGIMANA Venuste is “Docteur en Sciences Agronomiques et Ingeniérie Biologique – Doctor in Agronomy and Bio-engineering” from the University of Liège, Gembloux Agro Bio-Tech, Belgium. In addition to the bachelor’s degree in Education - Biology awarded by the former National University of Rwanda, Nsengimana has an MSc degree in Biodiversity Conservation and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGCLTH) awarded by the University of Rwanda. Nsengimana serves the University of Rwanda-College of Education (UR-CE) as Senior Lecturer and serves the University of Rwanda-College of Science and Technology (UR-CST) as the Deputy Director of the Centre of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management (CoEB). His area of research is Ecology and Conservation Biology and STEM - Education. Results of his research were published in national and international recognized journals. Further, Nsengimana works as principal investigator in different projects : (1) Soil-litter Arthropods as Bioindicators of Restoration Outcomes in Ecosystem-based Adaptation Project Sites in Eastern Rwanda, (2) Contribution of Pollinating Diptera Flies to Crop Pollination in Small-scale Agriculture in Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania, (3) Rwanda Ant Course 1 and 2, (3) Unlocking Resilient Benefits from African Water Resources, (4) Diversity and Abundance of Soil-litter Arthropods and their Relationships with Soil Physicochemical Properties under Different Land \Uses in Southern Rwanda, (5) Use of Soil-litter Ants (Hymenoptera : Formicidae) as Biological Indicators of soil Quality Under Different Land Uses of Southern Rwanda.
