The Office of Career Guidance and Employability is organising a personal development workshop for all interested students. The objective of the workshop is to equip students with attitudes, knowledge and skills that will help them in their personal and professional development.
The workshop will take place from 22nd to 23rd May 2019 in Rukara Campus Main-Hall I
The following are the topics that will be covered during the workshop:
Module I: SELF-AWARENESS
Self-awareness is key to the development of person. During the workshop participants will be equipped with tools and skills to discover their hidden potentials and how to use those potential for their personal development and contribute to the development of the society.
Module II: SETTING PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS
There is a French proverb that says « une personne sans objectif est comme un bouchon de liège dans un océan, la brise la plus faible lui fait change sa direction » which means that when a person has no objective, even a small wind changes his direction. Participants will get practical knowledge on why and how to set and achieve personal objectives.
