PROFILE OF MR.MUSENGIMANA THEOPHILE

Mr. Theophile Musengimana is an assistant lecturer of Physics at the UR-CE. He has a master’s degree in Physics from the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the UR-CE. Mr Theophile Musengimana has worked with undergraduate students since 2007 and has a good knowledge of science education and physical sciences with a special interest in Physics Education. Mr Theophile contributed to the publication of two papers : Daniel at al. (2018). An investigation on impact of teaching approaches on effective Physics learning in Rwandan Secondary Schools. Rwanda Journal of Education and Kizito, Nyirahabimana & Musengimana. (2021). Teaching and learning bucket model : Experimented with mechanics baselines test.

Currently, he is a PhD student in Physics Education at the University of Rwanda College of Education (UR-CE). His current research areas concern with the students’ skills in Physics problem-solving.
