Barthelemy Bizimana is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda-College of Education in the Department of Foundations Management and Curriculum Studies since 2015. Before this period he was a Tutorial Assistant in the same department and an Academic Assistant in the Faculty of Science where he accumulated both academic and administrative experience. He currently teaches Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education with Educational Psychology ; Inclusive and child friendly school and other modules in the Department if requested.

He holds a Master’s degree in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) and is currently in 4th year of a PhD in Philosophy of Education at the University of Rwanda. He is also a holder of a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Urbaniana University-Roma-Italia and has another bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology (Psychopedagogy) from NUR. He has a post graduate certificate in teaching and learning in higher education together with a number of certificates from different trainings including Open and distance e-learning at Korea National Open University. He is an e-learning champion and assists other lecturers to conduct their courses online.

Other trainings include Peace and Value Education, Human rights to mention but a few.
