At graduation, graduates of Quantity Surveying programme are expected to be capable of managing costs relating to building and engineering projects which include new construction, renovations and maintenance works.
Graduates from Quantity Surveying programme should also be able to minimise project cost from early design cost to final figure and enhance value for money while ensuring that projects meet the requirements of quality and legal regulations.
Therefore, our graduates should be able to conduct feasibility studies to estimate project cost ; prepare, negotiate and analyse cost for tenders ; advise on legal and contractual issues ; and do valuation of works with arrangements for payments
