Dr. Jean de Dieu Habiyaremye is a lecturer of Biology at the University of Rwanda-College of Education. He holds a PhD in Biology, specialization in Molecular Ecology, from Leipzig University (Leipzig, Germany) ; a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the Pan African University (Nairobi, Kenya) ; a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (PGCLTHE) from the University of Rwanda (Kigali, Rwanda), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Education, Biology-Chemistry-Education from the former Kigali Institute of Education (Kigali, Rwanda). Dr. Habiyaremye has experience of fourteen years teaching biology in higher learning institutions. He is also an associate member of the African Centre of Excellence for Innovative Teaching and Learning Mathematics and Science (ACEITLMS). His research interest focuses on Soil Ecology and Biology-Education.
