Ms. Agnes UWIZEYIMANA, is currently Assistant Lecturer at University of Rwanda-
College of Education in the Department of Humanities and Language Education.
Ms. Agnes UWIZEYIMANA holds a master of Education in Kinyarwanda Education that
she got from UR-CE. She successfully completed her studies for Postgraduate
Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGCTLHE).

She holds a Bachelor of Education (Hons) Kinyarwanda obtained in 2015 from
University of Rwanda College of Education, a senior six Advanced General Certificate
of Secondary Education from Groupe Scolaire Saint Joseph Kabgayi obtained in 2010.
Before joining the University of Rwanda as an Academic staff, she had taught
Kinyarwanda at G.S Camp Kanombe in secondary school.

Her research interest
includes technology and Applied linguistics. Ms. Agnes Uwizeyimana published a paper
entitled “the role of smartphone towards English speaking and listening skills
Enhancement : A case of the University of Rwanda “published in East African Journal of

Ms. Agnes Uwizeyimana is experienced in Teaching courses related to Kinyarwanda,
Monitoring, evaluating and reporting students’ progress in key learning areas,
Organizing and conduct community outreach activities related to Kinyarwanda subject,
organizing debate and competitions in Kinyarwanda, conducting scientific research in
applied linguistics and technology, Supervising students during school attachment,
Moderating examination papers and reviewing programme.
She is a trainer of trainees in English proficiency project for pre- primary and primary
teachers from 2022 up to date.
